Man Arrested in 2018 Stunt That Caused Mass Panic

Suffolk County Police have arrested a Pennsylvania man  and accused him of  causing a mass panic at a Commack store last year.

Five men staged a violent altercation at Walmart, 85 Crooked Hill Road, on Dec. 2, 2018. During the incident, they yelled about a shooting while producing a prank video to post on social media for shock value. The incident created mass panic throughout the store, police said.

Following an investigation, Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers arrested Marcquis Graham, 24, of Philadelphia, on Dec. 5 in Ronkonkoma. He was charged with riot 2nd degree, unlawful assembly, criminal nuisance 2nd degree, reckless endangerment 2nd degree and endangering the welfare of a child.

The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
