A driver was injured Friday morning when a vehicle collided with a tractor-trailer truck on Route 110 and Spagnoli Road.
Melville firefighters used heavy rescue extrication tools to free the man, who was taken to Nassau University Medical Center in stable condition by the Melville Rescue Squad. An engine, two ambulances, paramedic and first-responder units under the direction of Assistant Chief David Kaplan responded.
