Man Injured in Crash on Railroad Street

A man driving on Railroad  Street was injured Saturday when his car  struck a tree near Lowndes Avenue.

The Huntington Community First Aid Squad, across the street from the accident, said the crash occurred about 2:30 p.m. The driver was able to get out of the SA 2016 Toyota sedan by himself, but because of a cut to his head, and because he appeared disoriented, he was taken to Nassau University Medical Center.

The Huntington Manor Fire Department  spread Speedy Dry on fluids that had leaked on the road.
