A man was shot to death early Saturday morning in Huntington Station, Suffolk County police said.
Police said that they responded to a 911 call at 6:18 a.m. and found Nicholas Ehrmann, 38, of Huntington Station on the ground at 328 Depot Road. He was taken to Huntington Hospital and pronounced dead.
That address is the 7-Eleven store at the intersection with East 17th Street. Police blocked Depot Road from the store north to Brompton Place most of the day.
Second Precinct detectives are asking anyone with information on the shooting to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
No further details were immediately available.
