Man Wanted for Spraying Gasoline at Station

Police are seeking a man caught on tape spraying gasoline on pumps at a Commack gas station last month.

The suspect was described as a white male in his late teens to early 20s. He was wearing glasses, a gold chain and an orange shirt with black lettering in the front.

He sprayed gasoline onto the gas pumps, spill buckets and concrete at Speedway, at 1173 Jericho Turnpike,  at about 9:30 p.m. on July 6. The gasoline spilled into the drainage sewers. The cost of the clean-up and repairs will be approximately $2,000.
