Markets, Federal Offices to Close Wednesday

American stock markets and many federal offices will close Wednesday as part of the national day of mourning for the late President George H.W. Bush.

The U.S. Postal Service won’t deliver regular mail on Wednesday but will offer limited package delivery to keep pace with holiday deliveries.

Bush, who died on Friday, will lie in state in the rotunda of the U.S. Capitol f until Wednesday morning.  His casket will be taken Wednesday morning to the National Cathedral, where a state funeral will be held.

The 41st president served one term, from 1989-1993.
