She also launched the firm’s “Tools and Advice for Working Caregivers,” an elder care employee benefits program that provides support for working caregivers. Under her leadership, the firm has prioritized corporate social responsibility including founding “Senior Dreams Come True,” which grants wishes for Long Island’s low-income seniors.

The Long Island Business News Reader Rankings recognize the region’s top businesses and professional service firms as voted by the readers of the weekly business publication. The two-step process first includes a nomination round, with the top nominees progressing to the voting ballot. This year more than 6,000 votes, the most in the competition’s three year history, were cast in 70 categories. Individual voters are limited to a onetime vote to ensure that votes cast represent an honest reflection of the opinion of the Long Island business community.
The top three finalists in each category were celebrated with a dinner and awards presentation at the Heritage Club at Bethpage. Genser Cona Elder Law Managing Partner Jennifer Cona accepted the award on behalf of the firm.
