The Huntington Town Board appointed members to the Greenway Trails and Golf Advisory Committees at its regular meeting Tuesday.
Lynn Plunkett of the Appalachian Mountain Club of Long Island was named to the Greenway Trails Committee, replacing Simone daRos, who resigned.
The board also appointed the following members of the golf committee:
Robert Howell, Charles Bravo, James Powers, Alex Gayer, Denis Beyersdorf, Arlene Bernstein, Jayne Tyska, Joan Lockwood and Rich Bartumioli.
The golf committee’s role is to listen to community concerns and provide guidance to the town Department of Parks and Recreation.
