‘Milkshake Monday’ to Benefit Comedians

IHOP restaurants in Huntington Station and Commack are participating in Milkshake Monday, an event sparked by comedian Adam Sandler.

After he was turned away by busy Manhassset IHOP Monday because of a long wait, he tweeted that he’d left the restaurant only because IHOP’s all-you-can-eat offering did not apply to milkshakes.

The company turned the situation into a promotion that means that  for every milkshake sold on “Milkshake Monday,” IHOP is donating $1 each (up to $50,000) to Comedy Gives Back, the nonprofit safety net of the comedy community that helps struggling comedians who have lost all income because of COVID-19 closures.
