MTA Adds Lactation Space at Penn Station

The Metropolitan Transportation Authority has added space for lactation purposes at Penn Station. The pod, the first in the MTA system, is located in the customer waiting room at Penn for women who want to breastfeed or pump.

The LIRR also announced that this weekend, buses will replace trains between Port Jefferson and Smithtown. And weekend Port Jefferson Branch service east of Hicksville will be reduced.  On Sunday after 3:30pm, buses will replace trains between Port Jefferson and Hicksville due to switch replacement near Syosset and bridge modernization east of Smithtown.
