NAACP, League of Women Voters Sponsoring Candidate Forums

Huntington voters will be able to hear what candidates have to say at forums scheduled Thursday and on Oct. 26.

The NAACP is hosting candidates Thursday at the South Huntington Public Library. The event runs from 6 to 9 p.m.

On Oct. 26, the League of Women Voters has forums for the 4th District State Senate race, and then for the 10th State Assembly race between incumbent Steve Stern and challenger Aamir Sultan. That will be followed by the 12th,  incumbent Keith Brown and challenger Cooper Macco. The forum is co-sponsored by the Huntington Chamber of Commerce and New York Chapter 2 of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

The election is Nov 8.

The forum will be held at Five Towns College Performing Arts Center, 305 North Service Road, Dix Hills. Livestreaming will  also available at https://youtu.be/jO2gDpn4B8k. Recording will be available at https://my.lwv.org/new-york/huntington

The forum will begin at 7 p.m.
