New Businesses Coming to Huntington Village

A handful of new businesses are primed to open soon in downtown Huntington, while at least one shop is expanding, and yet another moving around the corner.

Coming in are Pete’s Famous Cheesesteaks, is renovating on New York Avenue near European Republic and brags, “So good they gave us six stars,”  and Twenty5a, a clothing store with a busy social media presence, which is taking over 276 Main St. It is replacing Runway & Rose.

The Crushed Olive, which specializes in olive oils and balsamic vinegars, is relocating from Main Street to 357 New York Ave., and Collectors Coins & Estate Jewelry, at 331 New York Ave., is expanding.

The new stores are arriving even as other buildings sit empty as businesses shut down during the Covid-19 epidemic. Jos. A Banks, Jon Megaris Hair Salon and Loft, all on Main Street, have closed their doors in the last year.
