New Executive Director Named at Art League

Marianne Della Croce has been named executive director of the Art League of Long Island.

She has worked in nonprofit management for more than 20 years, with experience in grant writing, programming, leadership and fundraising.

She has a Master of Arts in Anthropology and Museum Studies from Arizona State University, a certificate in Not-for-Profit Management from Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus, and a certificate in professional fundraising from Boston University.

She previously worked at the East Hampton Historical Society and Oysterponds Historical Society, among other nonprofits.

The league said she had begun working with local government officials and small business owners.

She succeeds Charlee M. Miller, who has taken on the role of director of development and donor relations.

“It has been an honor and privilege to serve the Art League community for over ten years,” Miller said. “The Art League’s dedicated staff, faculty and volunteers go above and beyond every day to make the Art League the outstanding organization it is today. I’m looking forward to more time with family and friends and even time to make some art!”
