Doors slid open yesterday on a new technology center at the South Huntington Public Library.
The new center, under construction since May, is located in the adult library and is equipped with multiple PCs and laptops, two Macs, a 24- inch wide printer, two 3D printers, scanner and more. The computers feature Microsoft and Adobe applications, among others.
Classes in how to use technology will be hosted at the center.
The library has undergone other upgrades, including new carpeting in Circulation and the AV Room.
Friends of the South Huntington Library also hosted its annual fall fair, featuring music, food, games and vendors.
