School Districts Cheer Niche.com Rankings

Niche.com released its rankings of school districts around the country this week, handing out letter grades for districts and high schools.

The South Huntington district, which plans a bond issue this fall to further upgrade its schools, was particularly pleased with its rankings as seventh in Suffolk County and Whitman High School as fifth in the county.

South Huntington school superintendent Dr. David Bennardo said, “I couldn’t be more
proud of the faculty, staff, students, and parents who are bringing this incredible renaissance to our schools. We celebrate this fine work and know that there are even more accomplishments to come for our community, which is a genuine microcosm of the American Dream.”
