Non-Profit Collects More Than 110 Bicycles

Brett’s Bicycle Recycle collected more than 110 bicycles this weekend, partnering with Town Councilman Ed Smyth for the drive.

The nonprofit group, which also takes tricycles, scooters, skateboards and other gear such as helmets and pads, repairs the donations and gives them away to people in the community who need them.

Smyth and the Brett’s Bicycle Recycle team– Lisa Karrer and Deborah Porretto– took in bicycles in every condition, from those missing essential parts, which will be used for parts, to brand-new donations.
