Northport Village police report the following:

 

INCIDENTS:

10/15

MAIN ST
Responded to the incident location for the report of illegally parked vehicles. Upon arrival, the undersigned located a 2004 Mercedes Benz bearing, NY CTX8610 and a 2018 Hyundai bearing, NY HXM5800 and issued the appropriate summons.

WOODBINE AVE
Complainant into Headquarters to report lost property. Complainant states that on October 12, 2018 at approximately 1600 hours, he was on board an American Airlines flight from Las Vegas NV to JFK NY. Complainant states while on the flight, he lost his United States Permanent Residence Green Card #021-570-954, Global Entry Card, NYS Driver License, American Express card, Citi Bank credit card and a Chase Bank debit card. Complainant has suffered no monetary loss, has cancelled the credit cards and is filing this report for informational purposes only. Copy of complainant’s identification attached hereto. MV-78B provided. Foil prepared and copy of report provided to the complainant. No eJustice entry made for Green Card due to technical issue. PSD Gunther will follow up with eJustice helpline. No further police action necessary.

10/18 Complainant into headquarters to report all of his documents have been recovered

BURR AVE
The listed complainant at headquarters reports that her tenant has his TV volume turned up to loud. The complainant reports that she moved in the listed address approximately eight days ago and wasn’t aware that the listed tenant who lives in the upstairs apartment watches his TV with the volume turned all the way up between the hours of 11 PM thru the early morning hours. The complainant went upstairs to ask if he would lower the TV volume, but the tenants wife answered the door. The wife told the complainant that she would lower the volume and did so, however within a half hour the TV volume was turned up again. The tenant went downstairs to the complainants apartment and when she opened the door, he started yelling at me for complaining about the loud TV to his wife and stated ” be careful what you do” with a smile and then he left. The tenant returned to my door approximately 20 minutes later with a different attitude, he was actually being polite and asked if he can see my dogs. The complainant stated she was freaked out by his attitude change, and asked him to leave without further incident. Undersigned advised her to contact the her landlord.

NORTHPORT VILLAGE COURT, MAIN ST
The following order of protection was issued by Judge Senzer of the Northport Village Justice Court on October 1, 2018. Said order supercedes NP-0002-18 and is valid from October 1, 2018 through October 7, 2019. A copy of the order digitally secured within this module.

10/16 At the time of this writing, the defendant had not been served. Suffolk County Sheriff’s Department notified and will serve order.

10/16 Tammy Grattadauria should be a listed protected party on this order, however the court failed to list her. It is again in the process of being updated at this time.

SAINT PAULS METHODIST CHURCH, MAIN ST
Complainant into headquarters to report a leaving the scene MVC.

OCEAN AVENUE SCHOOL LOTS, OCEAN AVENUE
Responded to the above location for a report of two suspicious males possibly filming in the parking lot. Upon arrival the undersigned interviewed two youths who stated they were filming the fire alarm going off at 1900 hours for operation edith. No further police action necessary.

SOPER AVE
Responded to the incident location for a report of a domestic dispute.

FORT SALONGA RD
Responded to the incident location for a report of a MVC. Upon arrival, it was determined that while backing up the 2018 Infiniti struck the drivers side of the 2012 Subaru. Both drivers agreed they didn’t want to file a MV-104A and wanted this incident reported for informational purposes only. Vehicle #1 (Infiniti) FOR HIRE SELF-INSURER (993), Vehicle #2 (Subaru) All State Ins. Co (743).

SKIPPER’S PUB, MAIN ST
Responded to the incident location for a female overdose. Undersigned officers administered one dose of narcan. Northport Rescue responded and transported the aided to Huntington Hospital. Naloxone Report uploaded to blotter.

MAIN ST
Responded to the above location to investigate a bad odor. Upon arrival it was determined that the odor was coming from the heating system and advised them it could need to be serviced.

Anonymous person did respond to Headquarters and report finding a bag on a bench. Undersigned did contact owner who responded to Headquarters to reclaim property. No further action necessary.

CHURCH ST
Responded to the above location to investigate a motion alert from the homeowners security camera. Upon arrival it was determined to be the residents cat and dog activated the camera alert.

CHESTNUT CIR
Responded to the above location for a lift assist. On arrival, undersigned assisted the subject from the floor to his bed. The subject denied the need for medical attention.

HIGHLAND AVE
Responded to the above location for an automatic medical alert activation. Northport Rescue had already responded and made entry through a window. Once inside, it was determined that the above resident had accidentally activated the alarm. Undersigned had a delayed response due to a prior accident and subsequent arrest call.

THE WINE CELLAR ON MAIN, MAIN ST
Responded to the above location for a report of a possible electrical fire. Northport Fire responded and found a faulty light switch. Fire Marshall Brojer was notified by the fire department and responded to the scene.

BURR AVE
Responded to the incident location for a report of suspicious circumstances. Upon arrival the complainant states a male subject parked the listed vehicle at the curb and walked over to a parked white Chevrolet Tahoe and left in that vehicle. Complainant stated he didn’t recognize the subject or the vehicles. The listed vehicle was observed parked legally and unoccupied.

SCUDDER AVE
Responded to the above location for the report of an intoxicated male stumbling in the roadway. Upon arrival undersigned located the above subject who stated he was trying to walk home to Kings Park. Subject denied any medical assistance. Undersigned transported the subject the Northport train station without incident.

LAUREL ST
Responded to the above location for the report of a dog barking for hours. Upon arrival the dog was in the yard barking and the undersigned was unable to make contact with the resident.

GOODWIN PL
Responded to the above location to assist Suffolk PD with a large group in the street. The undersigned remained on scene till the group disbursed.

SOPER AVE
Responded to the incident location for a report of a subject having a reaction to drugs. Upon arrival the spouse stated her husband is acting irrational due to using heroin. The undersigned spoke with the aided and denied any and all use of heroin but agreed to go to the hospital to get medically evaluated. Northport Rescue transported the aided to Huntington Hospital with the undersigned following the ambulance.

ANNETTA AVE
Responded to the above location for a report of a snake in the driveway. Upon arrival the snake was moved to the woods in the rear of the house.

LEWIS RD
Responded to the incident location for a report of a solicitor. Upon arrival the undersigned located the solicitor who was warned and admonished regarding soliciting within Northport Village. The solicitor agreed to leave the area.

DOGWOOD RD
Responded to the incident location for the report of numerous illegally parked vehicles. Upon arrival the undersigned observed a 2013 Honda bearing NY registration GAU8317 illegally parked in a no parking zone. An appropriate summons was issued.

HILL ST
Responded to location for a 911 hang up call. Upon arrival the caller stated his wife became upset when he stated he was going to take their vehicle in the morning. Both parties agreed to resolve the situation in the morning. DIR attached and faxed to VIBS.
