MCCREIGHT, DANIEL, 21, EAST NORTHPORT-UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA
CONSTITUTION SQ
In lieu of arrest, the above defendant was issued a field appearance ticket for unlawful possession of marijuana.

FEENEY, MICHAEL, 36, HUNTINGTON STATION-DRIVING WHILE ABILITY IMPAIRED (DRUGS), CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE 4TH, UNSAFE LANE CHANGE
FORT SALONGA RD

The defendant was observed operating a 2000 Toyota eastbound on Fort Salonga Road when he failed to maintain his lane by driving in the opposite lane of traffic and then came to a complete stop at the intersection of Woodbine Avenue. When the officer attempted to stop the vehicle the defendant refused to stop but drove at a very slow speed on the shoulder eventually coming to a stop. When the officer approached the vehicle the defendant had a white powder on his lap and on the screen of his cell phone. When asked to exit the vehicle the defendant attempted to hide a white rock substance in between his driver seat and center console. The defendant had glassy bloodshot eyes, enlarged pupils, slurred speech, and he was unsteady on his feet when he exited the vehicle. The white rock was field tested positive to be crack cocaine. The defendant was arrested and transported to headquarters. While sitting in the rear seat of RMP 956 the defendant did kick off his shoe which contained a clear plastic baggie with a white powder inside and attempted to hide it under the front passenger seat. The defendant did perform poorly on several SFSTS inside the precinct. The defendant did consent to a breath and blood test, Intoxilyzer 9000 breath test at 0155 hours blew .000% and blood drawn by PA Christine Szempruch at 0244 hours.

CATAPANO, CHASE, 23, NEW YORK-CRIMINAL CONTEMPT SECOND DEGREE/DISOBEDIENCE
WOODBINE AVE
The above defendant was arrested at the above location, after being present there, in violation of a full stay away order of protection. The order of protection was issued by NPTVJ Court on March 1, 2018 and is effective through March 4, 2019. The defendant is ordered to stay away from the caller as well as Tammy Grattadauria. Defendant was arrested, processed and held for arraignment.

MUNICIPAL LOT #1, CONSTITUTION SQ
Responded to the above location for a report of a group of youths yelling. Upon arrival the subjects were interviewed and one was issued a field appearance ticket for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
CVS PHARMACY, FORT SALONGA RD
Responded to to incident location on a report of dispute over an item purchased. Upon arrival, the above subject stated she can’t find the item she just purchased. The item was located in her vehicle. Situation resolved. No further police action required.

SCUDDER AVE
Responded to the above location for a tenant dispute. Upon arrival the caller states that his neighbor has been knocking on the other tenants’ doors and asking odd questions. The neighbor was advised to cease knocking on other tenants doors.

Complainant reports that over the course of several years she has been upset with many different occupants of her building. The complainant was advised to contact her landlord to discuss these issues as no violation of law had been reported. No further action necessary at this time.

HAWKINS DR
Property owner into Headquarters to report an observation of holes in the siding of his house. The property owner recently purchased the house but doesn’t reside there until all construction work is completed. The property owner stated he stopped by the house today and observed a few holes in the siding of his house. The property owner believes the holes were caused by either a pellet gun or a landscaper causing rocks to be kicked up. The property owner states he is filing this report for informational purposes only. The officer advised the property owner that the patrol division would be advised of the circumstances and provide extra patrol throughout the day. No further action necessary.

FORT SALONGA RD
Responded to the above location for a report of a motor vehicle collision, with an overturned vehicle. Upon arrival assisted with medical treatment and traffic control until the arrival of Northport Rescue and Suffolk County police units.

MUNICIPAL LOT #1, CONSTITUTION SQ
While on patrol, the owner/operator advised the officer that her Toyota possibly struck a Nissan. The owner/operator stated as she was pulling out of a parking stall in lot #1, she heard a rubbing sound but wasn’t sure if she struck the Nissan which was parked and unoccupied in the adjacent parking stall. The officer didn’t observe any damage to the owner/operator’s vehicle. The officer did observe a few markings in the rear bumper of the unoccupied Nissan but couldn’t establish whether they were there prior to this incident or just occurred. The officer left a notice on the unoccupied vehicle’s windshield advising of the circumstances and will attempt to contact the registered owner.

VILLAGE PARK, CONSTITUTION SQ
Responded to the incident for the report of a group of youths blasting music. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the group and they agreed to turn the music off.

SUNSET HILL, FRANKLIN ST
Responded to the incident location for a report of an abandoned 911. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with the listed resident who stated no one called 911 and he will call the phone company to have the phone serviced.

Responded to the incident location for a report of an abandoned 911. Upon arrival, the officer was met with a Verzion employee who stated he was servicing the phone line for the residence and the medical alert is calling 911 due to a bad connection. No further action necessary.

WOODHULL PL
Responded to the above location for a report of possibly someone within the home. Officer spoke with the resident and did a complete check of the interior and exterior of the home and was unable to locate anyone. Nothing appeared to be tampered with and all the doors were locked.

The officer observed that the above listed moored vessel listing to its port side. Upon further examination it was apparent that the vessel had taken on a large amount of rain water. The vessel was pumped out. No contact information on file the owner. No further action is needed in this case.

MUNCIPAL LOT #2, WOODBINE AVE
Responded to the above area for a report of a vehicle blocking the farmers market area. Officer made contact with the listed registered owner who agreed to move his vehicle. No further action necessary.

LAUREL AVE
Complainant into headquarters reports a possible attempt to steal his identity. Complainant recently received a letter from a company stating that he was denied opening a credit card account pending further information. Complainant states that he never applied for the company’s credit card. The officer read the letter and at this point it appears that the fraud detection system for the company, is working. The complainant suffered no loss and account was never opened. Report held for informational purposes, no further action at this time.

SCUDDER AVE
The above registered owner reports the theft of a side view mirror on her 2016 Ford Explorer.
BRITANNIA YACHTING CENTER, FORT SALONGA RD
Responded to the incident location for a report of a strange odor in the area. The officer canvassed the area and determined the odor to be coming from a new driveway. No further police action taken.

HILLSIDE PL
Responded to the incident location for a report of a male youth talking to daughter. Upon arrival the officer interviewed the above parents who stated he had come home to find his daughter’s male friend over. Parent states that the male has been previously told he was not welcome. Subject cursed at the parent but left prior to officer’s arrival. Parent did not have any pedigree information for the male. A canvass for the subject yielded negative results. Parents advised to call if the subject returns.

MAPLE AVE
Responded to the incident location for a report of a chair left on the front porch. Upon arrival officer interviewed the above caller who stated approximately 10 minutes prior to her calling she heard a car door slam. When she looked out her window she saw a chair on her porch left by who she believed was a group of youths. Officer canvassed the area yielding negative results.

RUTLEDGE AVE
Responded to the incident location for a report of loud music in the area. Upon arrival officer located a loud party at the American Legion Hall and advised them to turn the music down.
