Family Service League is running an online auction this weekend as a fundraiser for its many programs.
Bidding is open through Monday at 9 a.m.
Items available for bid range from Apple airpods to a ‘bucket list” trip and a James Beard house party.
With the Covid-19 epidemic shutting down most events, FSL like many other organizations, has turned to the virtual world to raise money.
It plans a virtual walk of 1.5 miles or a 5k, on Sept.12 to raise funds for its wellness programs, and its 28th annual Great Chefs of Long Island event on Nov.16. Last year’s Great Chefs event featured a score of Long Island restaurants, including Jonathan’s Ristorante, North Fork Chocolate Company, Osteria Da Nino, Piccolo Mondo, Red, 110 Japan and Vauxhall.
