Several SUNY Oswego students from the Huntington area took part in internships in spring 2018 with a wide variety of employers through the college’s Center for Experiental Learning, providing a strong on-the-job learning experience to amplify their coursework.
Jackalyn Carione of Commack, a senior broadcasting and mass communication major, interned with Make A Wish of Central New York in Syracuse
Dimitri Jean of Huntington, a senior business administration major, interned with Experience Oswego in Oswego
Stephen Wildman of Huntington, a senior wellness management major, interned with Stability Fitness in Oswego
Robert Williamson of Huntington, a senior broadcasting and mass communication major, interned with CNY Central in Syracuse
Emily Stasko of Huntington Station, a senior public relations major, interned with Hall Newman Center in Oswego
Admission to SUNY Oswego is competitive. U.S. News Media Group counts SUNY Oswego among the top public regional universities in the North for 2018, and the Princeton Review includes Oswego in its 2018 college guidebook “The Best Northeastern Colleges” and in its national list of “Green Colleges.”
