Patricia Reciniello, Volunteer EMT, Dies

Patricia A. Reciniello, age 55, died Tuesday at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. She was 55.

She was active in her community as a volunteer EMT with the Huntington Community First Aid Squad where she served for over 30 years.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Vito L. Reciniello.  She leaves her children, Vito J. and Mary, and siblings George (Louise), Kathy (Joe), Bob (Teresa), Peggy (Sean), Leo, Diane (Bill), Mary Beth (Paul) and Christine (Mike) and 29 nieces and nephews.

she was a 1982 graduate of Walt Whitman High School. She studied at SUNY Cortland and went on to receive a Master’s degree in Audiology from Hofstra University. She was a licensed audiologist for over 30 years and worked for ENT and Allergy Associates.  Trish faced death with grace, courage and strength based on her unwavering faith. She was an inspiration to all who knew her.  We are all so blessed to have her as our angel watching from above.

Visitation at the M.A. Connell Funeral Home, is set for Saturday from 7-9 p.m., and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services are Monday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Hugh of Lincoln church, with burial at Huntington Rural Cemetery Association.
