Philip Henry Tepe, a longtime member of the Dix Hills Fire Department, has died. He was 71.
Tepe served in the department for 52 years. He had been a chief of the department, and was most recently a member of the Board of Commissioners of the fire department. He was also a Suffolk County deputy fire coordinator.
He was married to Toni Tepe, chair of the Huntington Republican Town Committee.
