Half Hollow Hills East defeated Walt Whitman Tuesday, 6-0, in girls flag football. The top-seeded Thunderbirds will advance in the playoffs, with a game Friday against Patchogue-Medford.

The Tigers beat Huntington, 14-6, and will play Commack Friday in the next round of the playoffs.
