Police Seek Help in Identifying Robber

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who robbed a man in Huntington earlier this month.

A man was approached in the hallway of an apartment building, located at 311 New York Ave., on Oct. 15 at approximately 3:10 p.m. by a man displaying a black handgun. The man stole cash and an iPhone 8. The suspect was described as white, in his early 20s, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall with a thin build, and facial hair on his chin. He was wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
