Post-Partum Wing Reopens at Huntington Hospital

Huntington Hospital has reopened its post-partum wing and neo-natal care unit.

The hospital had begun rerouting new mothers and babies last week to a center in Bay Shore to limit chances of exposure to Covid-19 and expand space devoted to the epidemic. Mothers were able to deliver at Huntington Hospital and then moved.

“We are doing our utmost to keep our mothers, babies, and staff safe, secure, and healthy. Our environmental services team is using state of the art cleaning techniques and products to keep our units Covid-free and safe,” said Dr. Mitchell Kramer, chairman of the obstetrics and gynecology department.
