Huntington Manor firefighters extricated a man and pregnant woman from a minivan Wednesday afternoon after it struck a telephone pole and overturned.
Huntington Community First Aid Squad responded to the accident about 12:53 p.m. and treated the woman, 29, before taking her to Huntington Hospital. The woman, who is 13 weeks pregnant, suffered a knee injury. The man refused medical attention.
Authorities said the vehicle was southbound on Park Avenue when the minivan went off the road between Dunlop Road and Crooked Hill Road.
