Randy Rainbow Bringing His Humor to the Paramount

Randy Rainbow, a Huntington native, will appear in September at The Paramount as part of a continuning comedy tour.

Rainbow, known for musical parodies  with political themes, is scheduled for Sept. 17 in his “Pink Glasses Tour.”

The comedian, who got his start on Youtube, has been nominated for Emmys for his work. He frequently edits himself into real videos of celebrities and politicians, singing, pretending to interview them by adding snarky comments into the interviews, sometimes breaking into song.

Rainbow’s father was Gerry Rainbow, a bandleader at the closed Huntington Town House, who moved the family to Florida when Randy was a child.

Targets of his humor have included former Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Vice President Kamala Harris, disgraced former congressman Anthony Wiener, and frequently, former president Donald Trump.

Tickets go on sale Friday.
