Anne Regina Sammis  (1926-May 23, 2020)

She was married to Gordon Sammis for 42 years until his death in 1994.

She leaves her  children Gail (Jack) Milligan, Peter (Susan) Sammis, Sarah (Mark) Goldsberry, and daughter-in-law Bonnie Sammis, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 A funeral mass will be held at a later date.

Victor Donald Russo Jr. (1927-May 28, 2020)

 Retired negligence trial attorney. Served in the United States Navy in World War II (’45, ’46). Attended Brown University (’50), St. John’s Law School (’53) & NYU Graduate Law School (Criminal Justice, ’72). Taught a multitude of courses throughout legal offices in the five boroughs as well as in Suffolk, Nassau, Westchester and Putnam counties. Also lectured on cross examination in civil action lawsuits in the Civil Court of the City of New York and in many of his courses at Columbian Lawyers Association of Manhattan. In 1979, Victor joined a consortium of plaintiffs’ lawyers from Long Island who undertook the prominent Agent Orange case. The case was settled in 1984 and the Vietnam veterans were awarded both medical and financial assistance for their exposure to the toxic Agent Orange defoliant. He leaves his wife, Dr. Christine Fiorella Russo,  his brother-in-law, Ret. Judge Anthony J. Fiorella, Jr., a sister, Lucia Russo Childs, nephews Douglas and Albert Fiorella, and grandniece Serafina Fiorella. All current services are private.

John L. Cetta (1942-May 28, 2020)

Age 78. Husband of Donna. father of Tina Friedrich and her husband Randy, and Vikki Ervin and her husband Joe. Brother of Joan Cetta and Janise Fidotta. He was the proprietor for 40 years of the Laurel Service Center in East Northport and served 53 years as an active member of the East Northport Fire Department.

Steven J. Siegmann (1947-May 23, 2020)

73, of East Northport. U.S. Army Vietnam veteran. Husband of Linda.Father of Dawn Siegmann, Duane Siegmann (Michelle), Joseph Siegmann (Stephanie) and Elizabeth Siegmann, Step-father of Timothy Ohst and Michael Ohst (Rebecca).  Memorial service to be planned in the future at First Presbyterian Church of Northport. Donations to the Memorial Fund, First Presbyterian Church of Northport, 330 Main St., Northport NY 11768, in Steve’s memory.
