Retired NYPD Sergeant to Sign Books

Join Christopher Strom, retired NYPD sergeant, as he speaks and signs copies of his new book Brooklyn to Baghdad: An NYPD Intelligence Cop Fights Terror In Iraq, on Tuesday, November 19th from 7pm to 9pm at Book Revue.

The book is a true story of a retired NYPD intelligence sergeant applying his street-cop tactics and interrogation skills against a lethal insurgency that had infected Iraq. This memoir also illustrates the politics of Washington, DC, and the US Army in the war-fighting effort, which continually hampered complete success while simultaneously preserving career aspirations.

All books signed at Book Revue events must be purchased at Book Revue. If you purchase the book prior to the event please save your Book Revue receipt. If you have purchased the book from somewhere else you can still get your book signed, the store just asks that you make a purchase of equal or greater value to that of the book.

While it is not necessary to officially RSVP, it does help the store estimate how many people to expect. Please RSVP here.
