Reward Offered in Vandalism of Speed Sign

Police are seeking information about the person who vandalized a speed sign in Huntington Station last month.

Police said a  speed sign in front of 155 East 17th St., was damaged  between 4 p.m. on October 15 and 10 a.m. on October 16. The display was covered with black spray paint and  the lock was broken off the battery box.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads
to an arrest. Anyone with information about these incidents can contact Suffolk County Crime
