We are extremely proud of his accomplishments and know that this is only the beginning for him!”
The student is taking classes in Advanced Placement Calculus BC, AP Microeconomics, AP Research, AP Computer Science and AP Physics.

Whitman Security Booth
The South Huntington School District has received a $300,000 grant from the State that will be used to improve security at Walt Whitman High School.

The funds were secured by State Assemblyman Steve Stern and State Sen. Jim Gaughran.
Board of Education President Nick Ciappetta said, “We are very thankful to Assemblyman Stern and Senator Gaughran for their continuing commitment to the South Huntington school district. The money will be put to good use making sure our campuses and students stay as safe as possible.”
