Huntington Councilman Ed Smyth is hosting a bicycle donation drive with Brett’s Bicycle Recycle on Sept. 21.
The drive will collect donated bicycles at the American Legion hall on Mill Dam Road, from 10 a.m. until noon.
Brett’s Bicycle Recycle has donated more than 400 bicycles to those in need of wheels, taking donations, repairing them and then giving them away. They are also in need of monetary donations and a truck to haul the donated bicycles to events.
The donation drive will also accept helmets and other bicycle accessories.
