Snow Storm Turns Roads Hazardous

Updated: The second snowstorm of the week left roads slippery and driving difficult in Huntington Sunday afternoon.

Residents and businesses were busy clearing away snow that began falling Sunday morning.

South Huntington schools will be on a two-hour delay Monday because of concerns about the safety of roads.

The Town of Huntington said Sunday afternoon:

Trash pickup scheduled for Monday is unchanged.

The senior center will be closed Monday and senior meal pickup and delivery is postponed until Tuesday. Drive-through meal pickup hours this week are Tuesday 12pm-2pm and Wednesday 11am-1pm. Call 631-351-3304 for questions.
