Southdown Market reopened Monday morning with new shopping rules in place.
The store posted the following on its website
- Please try to limit the amount of shoppers you bring with you
- We will limit the number of people allowed in the store at one time
- Gloves will be provided
- Masks recommended
- Please follow 6-foot spacing markers on the floor
- Coming soon: 1-way shopping aisles to help with social distancing
- We will be closed on Sundays to allow our team a set day of rest
Orders will be processed in six to eight days, the store said.
One-way shopping aisles are in place in several stores, including Stop & Shop on East Jericho Turnpike.
