The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals offered a $2,000 reward Thursday in the dumping of a dead dog in a Jericho Turnpike lot.
The dumping of a male brindle and white male pitbull occurred Monday in the lot at 1160 Jericho Turnpike was caught on video. The truck involved in the dumping was a gray Toyota Tacoma caught on surveillance camera.
A reward of $2,000 is being offered for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for dumping the dog.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Suffolk County SPCA at 631-382-7722. All calls will be kept confidential.
