State Creates Website to Help Ukrainian Refugees, Supporters

New York State has set up a website to assist Ukrainian immigrants and their supporters with resources.

Resources include support services, immigration help,  humanitarian aid and information on how to help those  dislodged by the Russian attack on Ukraine.

Gov. Kathy Hochul said Thursday, “Ukraine’s resilience against Vladimir Putin’s tyranny is an inspiration to the rest of the world, and many New Yorkers are already doing their part to support humanitarian efforts. In moments like these, New Yorkers always stand together to support those in need. We are proud to provide trusted resources for those who want to lend a helping hand for our Ukrainian brothers and sisters here in New York.”

The state previously announced that the Ukrainian flag would be flown at several state buildings, and warned residents to watch for scams and cybersecurity threats involving Ukrainian issues.
