State Plans Public Health Corps, Resident Training

Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo said Monday that the state would work with Cornhell University and Northwell to establish a public health corps

The state will hire 1,000 health corps fellows who serve for one year and trained to facilitate a statewide coordinated vaccination operation.

The state also wants to train 100,000 residents to be prepared for the next public health crisis. The free training will be offered onlinell
