Simply Self Storage has opened for business on East Jericho Tunpike in Huntington Station.
“The Huntington Station property extends our customer-oriented solutions to Long Island, where we will continue to provide the top-level service we are known for coast-to-coast,” said Kurt O’Brien, Founder and CEO of Simply Self Storage.
The facility took over the space of the former Harley-Davidson motorcycle store known as the Lighthouse because of its architectural design. The motorcycle store closed in 2012, became a gym and a health foods store, and then was demolished in May of 2019 before the new building went up. The company said the building offers climate-controlled storage, spacious and convenient loading areas with available carts for customer use, security cameras, touch-less gate entry or keypad entry, indoor and outdoor lighting, and packing supplies.
The building sits on a 1.9-acre lot 670 E. Jericho Turnpike.
