Story Time, Easter Services Around Huntington

Friday: Fogo de Chao is hosting a Coloring and Cookies With a Cop. An officer from the Second Precinct will be reading a holiday-themed story while kids color. The event is set for 11 a.m. Photos can be taken with the Easter Bunny  (reservations recommended for photos, but walk-ups are welcome).

Saturday:  Huntington Baptist Church. 6 Oakwood Road, Huntington, is having an Easter egg hunt from 10 a.m.-12pm. for children ages 3-11 and their families. The event includes the telling of the Easter Story, crafts, games, snacks, and a take-home goodie bag.

Sunday: An Easter sunrise service is scheduled for 7 a.m. in Northport. The Ecumenical Lay Council of Northport and East Northport is sponsoring the service at Northport Village Park.

St. John’s Episcopal Church, 12 Prospect St., Huntington, will host an Easter egg hunt immediately following 9 a.m. services.

Orthodox Christians are marking Palm Sunday, with Easter celebrated on April 16.
