Huntington will close two streets to make them available for outdoor dining, the town said Thursday.
Starting this weekend, on-street parking will be prohibited on Wall Street and New Street between Gerard Street and West Carver Street from 4 a.m. Saturdays through 4 a.m. Mondays.
Main Street, West Carver Street and Gerard Street will remain open for through traffic.
The street closure includes a Town of Huntington take-out dining area where patrons of restaurants across the entire Huntington Village Business District can eat take-out meals while seated at one of our socially-distanced picnic tables.
Alcohol consumption is prohibited in the designated dining area, and wearing a mask is required when not eating and drinking.
