A student club at Northport High School has set up a fundraiser to assist the families displaced by an apartment house fire on March 23.
More than 100 people were left homeless by the fire in East Northport and have been receiving assistance from several local organizations and individuals.
Students for 60,000, will host the April 16 Boot Camp fundraiser, which includes a fun and energetic workout followed by pizza, salad and beverages. Suggested donation is $5 per student, $10 per adult, $15 per family or $25 for the whole package.
The event runs from 7-9 p.m. at Northport High School large gym.
