Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) named 1,598 students to the university’s Dean’s List for academic excellence for the Spring 2019 semester. Among them are:
Hannan Liang of Huntington is a member of the class of 2020 majoring in computer science and robotics engineering.
Jacquelyn Valsamis of Commack is a member of the class of 2020 majoring in environmental engineering.
The criteria for the WPI Dean’s List differs from most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean’s List by the amount of work completed at the A-level in courses and projects.
Champlain College
Nicholas Magnus of Huntington Station has been named to the Champlain College Dean’s List for the Spring 2019 semester.
Students on the Dean’s List have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher during the semester.
Rochester Institute of Technology
Rochester Institute of Technology has recognized Thomas LaMagna of Huntington Station for earning a spot on the Dean’s List during Spring 2019.
Le Moyne College
Gabriella Santoro, of Huntingtonhas been named to the Spring 2019 Dean’s List.
To make the list, students must achieve a GPA of 3.5 or above.
