Suffolk County Covid-19 Rate Rises

Long Island’s rate of positive Covid-19 tests shot up to 3.4 percent, the governor’s office reported Monday.

Suffolk had been hovering in the 1 percent range in recent weeks and hit 2.6 percent on Saturday.

Suffolk County had 324 new positive cases reported Monday, the second highest in the state after New York City with 1,156.
