Suffolk Credit Union Announces Community Donations

Medford, NY: In a continued effort to support the charitable work of local community organizations serving the areas of Suffolk Credit Union branch locations, the credit union announced donations of $1,000 to each of six local nonprofit organizations.

“Suffolk Credit Union is proud to support a variety of wonderful causes on Long Island,” said Michele Dean, President & CEO of Suffolk Credit Union. “Our donations reflect our ongoing commitment to assisting residents of Long Island while also spotlighting the valuable missions of these community organizations.”

The financial donations were presented to the following community organizations:

  • The Butterfly Effect Project (Riverhead)
  • Central Islip Fire Department (Islandia)
  • Good Shepherd Hospice (Port Jefferson)
  • HIS Coalition for the Homeless (Sayville)
  • Maryhaven Center of Hope (Medford)
  • Miller Place Fire Department (Miller Place)
