Suffolk Federal Credit Union (SFCU) has announced that Charles Schembri has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Chief Experience Officer. In his new position, he continues to be responsible for leading Suffolk Federal’s member-facing channels, including Branches, Contact Center, and Digital, while also newly overseeing the Deposit and Card Operations teams. Mr. Schembri previously served as Suffolk Federal’s Senior Vice President, Retail Banking.
“Charles is an innovative leader who has made a significant impact in enhancing our member experience, including implementing a Net Promoter Score program, reorganizing workflows to enhance contact center service levels, and designed a dedicated Digital channel strategy,” said Michele Dean, CEO & President, Suffolk Federal. “We are excited to have him drive key initiatives forward as he chairs multiple Strategic Committees overseeing many of our corporate efforts slated for this year and beyond.”
