Suffolk Has Third-Highest Infection Rate in State

New York City continued to report the largest number of new cases Friday at  2,558, followed by Erie with 862, Suffolk 711 and Nassau 671. The number of new deaths declined from the previous day, with 39 reported, none on Long Island.
