Suffolk Near Top of List for New Covid-19 Infections

After New York City, Suffolk County continues to have the highest number of new Covid-19 cases in the state, statistics from the governor’s office showed Saturday.

The office reported 2,715 new cases in the state, bringing the total to 333,122, with new cases found in 48 counties.

 New York City continues to have both the most total cases (183,289) and the most new cases (1,506) while Nassau is second (38,028 total and 216 new) and Suffolk (total 36,461 and 238 new).
