Suffolk PBA Endorses Slate of Candidates

The Suffolk County Police Benevolent Association has endorsed an all-Republican slate of candidates for the Nov. 3 election.

In addition to endorsing President Donald Trump for re-election, the police union supports:

George A.D. Santos, running for the 3rd US Congressional District seat  held by US Rep. Thomas Suozzi.

Mario R Matera, seeking the State Second District seat, vacant since John Flanagan resigned in June and later took a job with Northwell Health. He is running against Michael Siderakis.

Edmund J. Smyth, member of the Huntington Town Board, hoping to oust State Sen. Jim Gaughran.

Jamie R. Silvestri, campaigning against Assemblyman Steve Stern for the 10th Assembly District.

Keith Brown, running against Democrat Michael Marcantonio for the 12th Assembly District seat, left empty after Andrew Raia was elected as town clerk last year.
