Suffolk Police Investigating Gunshots

Suffolk police are investigating three separate cases of gunshots reported around Huntington in recent weeks.

The most recent occurred Monday night, Inspector William Scrima said, when several shots were reported fired at 94 1st Ave., Huntington Station, at about 7:10 p.m. The house was struck once.

On Feb. 24, several shots were fired abut 11:30 p.m. in the parking lot at 1300 New York Ave., Huntington Station. no injuries or damage was reported.
On Feb. 27, a man standing in the road at 173 Little Plains Road in Greenlawn was shot in the foot.  He was treated at Huntington Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. There were no further details.
