Summer Camp Guide 2020

It’s that time of year again: Many Huntington parents are busy looking for just the right camp for their children this summer. If you’re in in the market, here’s some information to help you make your decision.

Camp W

The premiere summer Camp on Long Island, Camp W, “Where Friendships Are Made,” located in Melville, is a fantastic experience for your child to spend their summer. Camp W offers 1- 8 week Camp sessions starting June 29 and ending on August 21. The camp day starts at 9:00am and ends at 3:30. Early Care is available from 7:30 am -8:30 and Late Care is available from 3:30 pm until 6:00 pm! Each group will have no more than 15 campers, and will be supervised by a counselor and assistant. There are three divisions at Camp W. Kiddie Camp is for campers going into Pre-K through 1st grade. Middle Camp is for campers entering 2nd through 4th grade. Upper Camp is for campers entering 5th through 9th grade.

Campers entering 2nd grade and up get to choose their afternoon activities. These activities range from athletic choices, Creative art classes or other unique hobbies such as Game Room, Camp Lounge, computers, remote control cars, fitness room, lip sync, Lego room and many other activities. We also have professionals who come to camp to run activities such as karate, robotics, computer coding, music, and Mad Science. We also offer hot lunch provided daily. Ice cream is supplied every day to all campers.
